Of CounselPhilippe Royou boasts 35 years of experience advising and representing clients in tax matters and disputes. Prior to joining Squadra Avocats, he spent the major part of his career at Simmons & Simmons, where he chaired the tax practice, and at Freshfields.
Philippe deals with matters relating to mergers/acquisitions and private equity transactions, where he advises entrepreneurs and managers alike.
He has also developed specific diversified expertise on savings and share ownership issues, including in cross-border matters, whether it be the design and implementation of incentive plans of all kinds (stock options, free shares, company savings plans, notional instruments, etc. ), expatriates and “impatriates”, cross-border remuneration, bonus plans or “remuneration packages” intended for executive or management teams in the context of LBOs or private equity transactions.
Wealth management advice also forms a part of his activity, and he advises a broad spectrum of clients including entrepreneurs, artists and high net worth families, in matters often involving cross-border issues.
