Squadra Avocats advises Heroes Media on the sale of VSD magazine

Squadra Avocats advised Heroes Media, an independent press publishing group, on the sale of VSD Publishing, publisher of the magazine VSD, to entrepreneur Vianney d’Alançon.

This disposal is part of Heroes Media’s strategy to refocus its business, in a magazine press market that remains under pressure. Heroes Media had taken over the VSD title in 2023 as part of a court-ordered receivership sale, and had succeeded in restructuring the title and driving a new economic momentum: VSD now distributes around 40,000 copies per month and has since returned to profitability.

The involvement of Squadra Avocats’ teams, together with their experience of the press sector, made it possible to secure the exit of this asset while preserving the continued operation of the title and its teams.
